Gerry Guerra was born and raised in metropolitan St Louis. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a certificate of Spanish proficiency from St. Louis University, cum laude, in 1991. Gerry graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1994, and is licensed and in good standing in Missouri and Illinois.
Upon graduation, Gerry joined a well-respected St. Louis law firm and focused his practice primarily on litigating personal injury claims on behalf of plaintiffs. He worked on a variety of serious injury and death cases, including product liability and crashworthiness, motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, and workplace accidents.
During his tenure, he also began cultivating a book of business clientele. This work included various types of commercial and real estate litigation involving winding down of business operations, asset distribution, partner disputes, and construction disputes. His work led to him being hired by a business client as its general counsel in late 1997. He remained in-house with this client for 13 years, overseeing all business operations while providing strategic advice to ownership pertaining to management of assets, including real estate development, zoning, condemnation, and eminent domain. In 2010, Gerry started his own personal injury law practice, the Guerra Law Firm, before joining OnderLaw in January 2013.
Gerry currently works on a variety of personal injury cases including automobile accidents, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. He is also directly involved in overseeing and litigating products liability cases, including dangerous drugs and defective medical devices.
