Woman injured after crashing into fire hydrant on Oregon and Gravois

ST. LOUIS, MO – A woman was seriously injured after crashing into a fire hydrant on Oregon Avenue early Friday morning, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

The crash happened on Oregon Ave and Gravois Avenue at 5:46 a.m., when 54-year-old Tina N. Franke, driving a red 2014 Ford Escape SUV, collided with a fire hydrant.

Franke sustained serious injuries in the crash.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
