Warrentown man seriously injured in two-vehicle crash

WARRENTON, MO – One person was seriously injured when the 1995 Ford Ranger he was driving slammed in to the back of a stopped vehicle in the middle of a Warren County roadway Saturday morning, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Dennis Schneider was following behind a 2005 Dodge 2500 driven by Matthew Schneider, 25, when the latter brought his vehicle to a complete stop on Route W just north of the I-70 outer road, for reasons that remain unclear. Dennis did not react fast enough and crashed into the back of the stopped pickup.

He was taken to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis in severe condition. It appears Matthew Schneider was uninjured in the collision.
