Two people hurt in St. Francois County rollover accident

BONNE TERRE, MO (ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY) – Two people were hurt after a vehicle rolled over in St. Francois County this morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in Bonne Terre, on Old Bonne Terre Road, south of Wildwood Drive. At 9:42 a.m., the driver of a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero SUV, 30-year-old Bonne Terre resident Brittany N. Skaggs, went over the centerline.

The vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, then rolled over.

Skaggs was taken to Mercy Hospital South for the treatment of moderate injuries.

A passenger, 53-year-old Linda S. Crocker, also of Bonne Terre, was brought to the hospital in Farmington with minor wounds.

Both victims were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.

The Mitsubishi was totaled in the crash.
