Two people hurt in Marion County crash on County Road 262

MARION COUNTY, MO – Two people were hurt in a single-vehicle crash on County Road 262 on Monday night.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 34-year-old Brandon P. Wilson was traveling east on County Road 262 in a 2011 Ford Escape. He failed to stop at a stop sign at US-24 causing the Ford to hit a ditch around 8:40 p.m.

Wilson sustained serious injuries and a 30-year-old female passenger sustained moderate injuries. Both individuals were transported to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, but the passenger was.

MSHP reports the Ford sustained extensive damages.
