Two in critical condition after vehicle crashes into home in St. Louis County

OLD JAMESTOWN, MO – Two people were transported to the hospital in critical condition after their car ran into a house Thursday afternoon, KSDK reports.

Officers arrived at the 3900 block of Del Lago Drive at 1:50 p.m. and found a car that had crashed into a house. The car had been traveling southwest when it left the road and hit the residence near the garage, police said.

The car was occupied by an 18-year-old male, an 11-year-old male, and a female in her late teens.

The female teen was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries. Both males were in critical condition upon transport to a nearby hospital, officials report.

There were two people who were inside the residence at the time of the accident. Neither of them were reported injured.

While the details leading up to the collision have not been reported, police said speed appears to have been a contributing factor.

This is an ongoing investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Unit.
