Three people, including infant, injured after vehicle overturns on I-64

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – Three people, including a one-year-old infant, sustained injuries after their vehicle crashed on westbound I-64 on Tuesday night.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2019 Ford Fiesta was traveling westbound on I-64 west of I-70 when it traveled off the left side of the road, struck a concrete barrier, and overturned.

The driver, 24-year-old Krystal M. Lawson, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. Two occupants, the infant and 24-year-old Travion M. Martin, sustained minor injuries in the crash. All three were transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis.

Police report the Ford was totaled in the crash.

It is unclear what caused the crash.
