Three injured after crash on I-170 NB in northwest St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO — Three residents of St. Charles were hospitalized early Thursday morning in a single-car collision on Interstate 170 northbound in northwest St. Louis, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Trooper B. T. Gregory reported the accident in the northbound lanes of I-170 at Boeing Drive at around 5:15 a.m.

A 2019 Nissan Rogue was exiting Boeing Drive when its driver failed to negotiate a curve, which caused the vehicle to run off the right side of the roadway and strike a concrete bridge support.

The driver, a 27-year-old man, along with another 27-year-old male passenger and a 25-year-old female passenger, were taken to SSM Health DePaul Hospital for moderate to minor injuries. The MSHP crash report indicates none of the injured were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The vehicle was totaled in the accident.
