A highway crash in Sunrise Beach was reported to authorities Sunday evening.
The accident occurred on State Highway MM, around half a mile west of the toll bridge. 25-year-old Spencer Garrett of Camdenton was traveling west when his vehicle swerved off the road and struck a tree. He sustained significant injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. Officials are currently investigating the incident and will release updates when appropriate.
