Student hospitalized after school bus crash in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO – A student was hospitalized after a school bus collided with two other vehicles at an intersection in south St. Louis this morning, KSDK reports.

The crash happened at the intersection of Chippewa Street and Morgan Ford Road at about 6:30 a.m. today. Two students were on the bus at the time, one of whom was taken to an area hospital as a precautionary measure. The driver does not appear to have been hurt.

An SUV and a car were also involved in the crash, both of which appeared to have front-end damage. It is not clear what caused the accident or whether anyone in these vehicles was hurt.

A spokesperson for Saint Louis Public Schools said that the bus’s driver did not appear to have been at fault, although we cannot independently confirm that.
