St. Louis man seriously injured following I-270 crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-270 that sent one man to the hospital in serious condition late Thursday night.

According to the official crash report, the accident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-270 just south of Manchester Road at about 11:43 p.m.

Troopers say 33-year-old Anthony Ming lost control of his 2005 Toyota Corolla and skidded off the right side of the road before striking a ditch and coming to rest against a tree.

Ming was transported via ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in serious condition following the crash. Details regarding what caused him to lose control of the vehicle remain unknown at this time.
