St. Louis driver injured after vehicle hits tree in West Alton

WEST ALTON, MO – A 28-year-old St. Louis driver was injured after her 2014 Nissan Pathfinder hits a tree on Thursday night.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Sarah A. Gomez was traveling north on US-67 when she lost control of the Nissan. The Nissan traveled off the right side of the road and hit a tree around 7:20 p.m.

Gomez was transported to Christian Hospital for minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

The Nissan sustained moderate damages.
