Speeding driver runs stop sign, hits ambulance in St. Louis intersection

ST. LOUIS, MO – A speeding driver ran a stop sign and hit an ambulance, then fled the crash scene early Thursday morning.

According to KMOV4, a driver was speeding and ran a stop sign at the intersection of S. Compton Avenue and Winnebago Street around 3 a.m. The unknown vehicle hit an ambulance causing it to flip on it’s side.

Two medics inside the ambulance were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.

The driver who caused the crash fled the crash scene.
