Shelbyville driver dies in truck accident on Highway BB

SHELBY COUNTY, MO – A 64-year-old Shelbyville driver was killed when his semi pulling a grain hopper crashed on Highway BB on Monday afternoon.

Thomas W. Davidson was traveling north on Highway BB when he lost control of his semi in a curve, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. The semi overturned about eight miles northeast of Leonard around 1:45 p.m.

Emergency officials pronounced Davidson deceased at the crash scene at 3:30 p.m.

Davidson was not wearing a seat belt.

The semi was totaled.
