Rush-hour collision reported in Northwest St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported significant delays following a crash on I-170 Thursday morning.

According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the accident occurred on the southbound ramp from I-170 to I-70 westbound shortly after 9:00 a.m.

Troopers have not released any information regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash at this time. The collision caused delays for commuters into St. Louis for about an hour following the accident.
