Road-service vehicle rear-ended on interstate 270

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO — According to the  Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver of a road-service truck was injured after their vehicle was rear-ended Wednesday night.

The accident occurred at 6:03 p.m. south of Manchester Road. Antwan Boyd, 48, was stopped in the roadway with the emergency equipment of his 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe activated, as he removed debris from the road. A 2008 Sterling Bullet failed to yield to his vehicle and rear-ended Boyd’s truck.

Officials transported Boyd to Mercy hospital St. Louis with moderate injuries.
