Police officer involved in North St. Louis crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – A St. Louis police officer was transported to the hospital following a collision north of downtown Wednesday night.

According to Fox 2 Now, the accident occurred near the intersection of Natural Bridge Avenue and Marcus Avenue around midnight. Officials say a federal agent in a police car ran into the other driver within the intersection.

The other driver was cut from their vehicle by the jaws of life and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Their condition remains unknown at this time.

The federal agent was not injured in the collision.
