Pedestrian hit and killed by SUV in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – An SUV hit and killed a pedestrian near 75th Street Saturday morning, the Kansas City Star reports.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on The Paseo parkway while the victim was standing near their car and was hit by an oncoming SUV, said Police Department spokesman Captain David Jackson.

Officials say the vehicle fled the scene and there is no other reported information regarding the suspect.
