ST. LOUIS, MO – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car on I-70 in North St. Louis early this morning, according to KMOV.
The crash occurred in the westbound lanes of the highway, near Carrie, at about 1 a.m., when the victim was struck by a driver.
The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.
It is unclear if the driver remained at the scene.
Authorities closed the westbound lanes of the interstate following the accident.
