Park Hills man in serious condition after St. Francois collision

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO – A man from Park Hills is recovering in the hospital after colliding with a tree on MO-221 Thursday evening.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of MO-221  just south of Henson Road at about 7:45 p.m.

Troopers at the scene say 34-year-old Bruce Ritch II lost control of his 2000 Buick Lesabre and traveled off the side of the roadway, colliding with a tree.

Ritch was transported via ambulance to Parkland Health Center Farmington in serious condition.
