One person injured after Amtrak train collides with vehicle

KIRKWOOD, MO – One person sustained non-life threatening  injuries after an Amtrak train struck their vehicle 212 S. Taylor Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.

According to KMOV4 News, the train was leaving the Kirkwood station and was en-route from Jefferson City and Kansas City.

The injured person was transported to a local hospital. No one else was injured in the crash.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
