Multi-vehicle accident on Metropolitan Boulevard leaves many injured

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – Multiple people were injured in to a three-vehicle collision on Metropolitan Boulevard Thursday evening , the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

A 2016 Dodge Ram was traveling south of Engle Creek Road when it strayed into the path of a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, officials report. The SUV and the truck collided.

A third vehicle, a 2014 Volkswagen Passat, then hit the back of the Dodge pickup. The Silverado drove over the center of the road and hit the guard rail.

A total of five people were reported injured from this accident. Both the driver of the Silverado and the driver of the Volkswagen had moderate injuries.

All injured parties were transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson.
