About 5,400 Modavari Forrest Live Edge Benches sold at Fred Meyer and Smith’s Marketplace stores have been recalled after two injuries were reported due to the benches’ instability. 

The benches, which were imported from India by Furniture Connexion, Inc. of Portland, Oregon, are printed with model number LE6on the carton. The Modavari Forrest Live Edge Benches measure approximately 60 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 18 inches high.They have a solid wood top and gunmetal-colored, U-shaped metal legs, and sold for approximately $300 each between December 217 and March 2020.

The company has received 12 reports of instability and tipping of the benches, including two injuries. One incident resulted in a head injury, and the second resulted in a toe injury.
