Milan woman injured in Sullivan County single-vehicle crash

SULLIVAN COUNTY, MO – A 60-year-old Milan driver was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Highway V about five miles northwest of Winigan on Tuesday morning.

Christy A. Fanning was traveling north on Highway V in a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser when she lost control of the vehicle in a curve, police report. The Chrysler traveled off the left side of the highway, overturned, and came to rest on it’s side around 8:30 a.m.

Fanning was transported to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

The Chrysler was totaled.
