Man injured in motorcycle crash on US 169 in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO — A 48-year-old man was injured early Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on US 169 in Kansas City, according to a crash report by Missouri State Highway Patrol.

State troopers and Kansas City police responded to the scene along the highway near Northwest Briarcliff Parkway at around 2:51 a.m.

Trooper Z. D. Thomas said the man was riding a Suzuki motorcycle northbound along US 169 when he lost control of the bike, causing it to overturn, ejecting the rider.

The man was transported by Kansas City Fire crews to North Kansas City Hospital with moderate injuries. His current condition has not been disclosed.
