MANSFIELD, MO – A man was hospitalized yesterday following a collision on Highway 60 involving a dump truck, Ozark Radio News reports.

Corion Morris, a 29-year-old resident of St. Louis, was traveling west on Hwy 60 about a mile east of Mansfield at about 11 a.m., when he attempted to pass a dump truck in the highway’s 3500 block. The front of Morris’s 2020 Dodge Ram struck the back of the dump truck, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway.

The Ram was totaled in the resulting crash, and Morris was taken to Cox Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries.

The driver of the dump truck had been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and does not appear to have been injured.
