Man from Imperial injured in Jefferson County car accident

FESTUS, MO (JEFFERSON COUNTY) – A man from Imperial was injured in a car accident on Victoria Road in Jefferson County yesterday evening, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The incident happened just after 6:30 p.m. on Victoria Road, west of Holly Hills Terrace, when a 2005 Ford Ranger driven by Festus man Joshua W. Dyle, 42, ran off the roadway.

Dyle overcorrected the vehicle to return to the road and the front-right end of the car hit the roadway. The Ford then traveled into the lane of oncoming traffic and hit the front end of a 2017 GMC Sierra driven by Imperial man Jeremy D. Thebeau, 43.

Thebeau was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries.

Both men were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, and both vehicles sustained minor damage.
