High Ridge motorcyclist seriously injured in Jefferson County crash

HIGH RIDGE, MO – A 44-year-old High Ridge motorcyclist was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Hillsboro Valley Park Road on Monday afternoon.

Willis B. Rayburn was traveling south on Hillsboro Valley Park Road on a 2005 Big Ridgeback, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. He lost control of the motorcycle causing it to overturn and travel off the right side of the road. After traveling off the right side of the road, the vehicle crashed into a ditch at Harter Farms Manor around 1:25 p.m.

Rayburn was transported to Mercy Hospital South. He was wearing a seat belt.

The motorcycle was totaled.
