Hawk Point woman injured in Lincoln County single-vehicle collision

LINCOLN COUNTY, MO – A woman from Hawk Point was rushed to the hospital after careening off the side of Route A in Lincoln County Monday morning.

According to the official report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at about 11:15 a.m. along Route A just west of Missouri 47.

Troopers say 69-year-old Sun Istwan struck a ditch on the right side of the roadway before traveling across all lanes and running off the left side. Istwan was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph via ambulance to be treated for minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
