Florissant driver injured in single-vehicle accident on I-270

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO – A 32-year-old Florissant driver was injured in a single-vehicle accident on eastbound I-270 just after midnight on Monday.

Ryan C. Harper was traveling east on I-270 west of Highway N in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado when he drove off the right side of the road, police report. The Chevrolet hit road signs, a post, and guardrails before it returned to the interstate and blocked the ramp.

Harper was transported to SSM Health DePaul Hospital – St. Louis for minor injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The Chevrolet was totaled.
