East St. Louis crash blocks lane on southbound I-55

EAST ST. LOUIS, MO – A crash blocked at least one lane on southbound I-55 at the IL-111 exit (6) on Wednesday morning.

According to KSDK, the traffic-blocking incident occurred around 11:16 a.m. The area is anticipated to be cleared around 1:03 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.

The cause of the accident is unknown.
