Driver rear-ends vehicle moderately injuring other driver

IMPERIAL, MO – A 43-year-old male driver failed to stop and struck a vehicle slowing to turn onto Lions Den Road from northbound Old Missouri 21 on Wednesday evening.

The causing driver was traveling northbound on Old Missouri 21 in a 2004 Dodge 1500 and struck a 2012 Nissan Sentra that had slowed down to turn police reported.

The Sentra driver was identified as Monique French, 43, and was transported to Mercy Hospital South for moderate injuries. Christopher Hutchason, the Dodge driver, was not injured in the crash.
