Desoto man injured after colliding with a tree on U.S. 67

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – A man from Desoto was taken to the hospital after striking a tree in Jefferson County Thursday afternoon.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the southbound lanes of U.S. 67 near Sunnyside Road at about 3:05 p.m.

The report states that 38-year-old Christopher Becker swerved off the highway and collided with a tree, totaling his car.

Becker was transported via ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson with minor injuries.
