Crash closes exit ramp on I-70 WB in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO — A vehicle accident Monday night caused standstill traffic and shut down on offramp on Interstate 70 westbound in north St. Louis, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.


The accident happened near the exit to Adelaide Avenue near O’Fallon Park in north St. Louis and was first reported at 9:54 p.m.

Motorists were told to expect delays as traffic slowed around the collision.

The scene was initially projected to clear at 10:12 p.m., but was later extended to 10:45 p.m. after the exit to Adelaide Avenue was reported closed.

Drivers were advised to take an alternate route altogether.

No further information has been reported on the circumstances around the incident.
