Crash blocks shoulder on I-70 WB near St. Louis Lambert Intl. Airport

ST. LOUIS, MO — A vehicle crash late Thursday morning blocked the left shoulder on Interstate 70 westbound near St. Louis Lambert International Airport in northwest St. Louis, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.

The collision occurred along the westbound lanes of I-70 east of the airport and was first reported at 10:33 a.m.

The scene was initially projected to clear at 10:48 a.m. but was delayed an hour later to 11:48 a.m., suggesting a significant crash and response effort.

No further information has been reported on the vehicles involved or any resulting injuries.
