Collision shuts down I-270 NB near Creve Coeur

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO — A vehicle accident Sunday afternoon completely closed Interstate 270 northbound near Creve Coeur, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.


The crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-270 north of Olive Boulevard and was first reported at 2:40 p.m.

Motorists were encouraged to find alternate routes around the area.

At 2:46 p.m., three left lanes were reported closed, suggesting one lane was reopened.


The scene was projected to clear at 3:31 p.m.
