Collision closes two lanes on I-270 SB in west St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO — A vehicle crash Thursday afternoon closed two left lanes on Interstate 270 southbound near St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital in west St. Louis, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.

The accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-270 north of Dougherty Ferry Road and was first reported at 12:18 p.m.

MoDOT projected the scene would clear at 1:12 p.m.

No further details have been reported on the vehicles involved or any injuries sustained.
