Cedar Hill woman injured in Jefferson County accident

DE SOTO, MO – A 32-year-old Cedar Hill woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Highway V on Tuesday morning.

Police report Ashley N. Hicks was traveling south on Highway V in a 2011 Ford Escape when she traveled off the north side of the road and hit a tree. The accident happened north of Tiny Creek Road around 5:30 a.m.

Hicks was transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for moderate injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.

The Ford sustained moderate damages.
