ST. LOUIS, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two individuals were injured in a crash at 5:20 a.m. this morning. The accident took place in the northbound lanes of I-55 just north of Meramec Bottom Rd.
The crash occurred when a Honda Civic attempted to change lanes, hitting the right front of a Western Star 4700. The Civic was then struck on its side by the truck, before traveling off the road and hitting the median.
Both drivers were injured. The Civic’s driver sustained moderate injuries while the truck’s driver sustained minor injuries. The civic was damaged extensively and the truck was minorly damaged.
