Three injured in Pike Co. rollover crash

LOUISIANA, MO (PIKE COUNTY) – Three people were injured in a rollover crash on Friday afternoon crash in Pike County, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at 3:40 p.m. on Highway NN, south of Highway 54, when a 2000 Chevrolet Express 2500 crossed over the center line. The Chevrolet, driven by 47-year-old Corey D. Mack, of Louisiana, Missouri, then struck a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country head-on and then overturned.

A passenger in the Chevrolet, 42-year-old Joseph R. Knox, of Columbia, was sent to the hospital for the treatment of moderate injuries, as was the 59-year-old driver of the Chrysler, Sharon K. Silvey, of Louisiana, Missouri.

Mack received minor injuries during the accident.

The occupants of the Chevrolet were not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, while Silvey was.

Both vehicles were totaled in the collision.
