Purdin man seriously injured in crash involving two ATVs

LINN COUNTY, MO – A 41-year-old Purdin man was injured in a crash involving two ATVs on Monday night.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, 36-year-old Christopher W. Bontrager was traveling west on Falk Road on a 1985 Honda ATV when he slowed to a stop. Jeremy W. Gulley was also traveling west on Falk Road on a 2003 Yamaha ATV and rear-ended the Honda ATV.

Gulley was transported to University Hospital in Columbia.

Neither driver was wearing a safety belt.

The Yamaha ATV sustained moderate damages and the Honda ATV sustained minor damages.
