POTOSI, MO (WASHINGTON COUNTY) – A man was injured in an accident Saturday in Washington County when his ATV overturned, according to a crash report published by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The incident happened around noon on Mayo Lane, located about a quarter-mile south of South Mine Street.
34-year-old Joseph H. Williams, of Potosi, was driving a 2005 Kawasaki ATV when he failed to properly execute a curve. The ATV ran off the side of the road and flipped over.
Williams was sent to the hospital with moderate injuries, according to the report. He was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident happened.
The ATV received only minor damage in the crash.
