Minnesota woman allegedly crashes into and kills pedestrian in Lake St Louis

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO – A driver from Minnesota collided with and killed a pedestrian in an accident in Lake St. Louis early this morning, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-64, near MO-364 and Ronald Reagan Dr, just before 1:30 a.m.

The driver of a 2018 Chevrolet Cruze, 24-year-old Christie A. Pennington, of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, crashed into a pedestrian, 36-year-old Livonia man Seth A. Cunningham.

Cunningham was pronounced dead by Wentzville emergency personnel nearly an hour later, at 2:21 a.m.

Pennington was not reported as injured in the crash. She was reportedly wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
