IMPERIAL, MO – Two people were injured when a driver collided with a tree on Old Lemay Ferry Rd north of Frisco Hill Rd Thursday, according to MSHP.
Madelyn R. Hartwid was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix when her car began sliding on a wet road. Her vehicle continue to rotate until it went off the right side of the road. The rear of the Grand Prix struck a tree before the vehicle came to a rest.
First responders were called to the scene around 8:05 a.m. They transported Keri A. Young, 39, and a 16-year-old girl to an area hospital with minor injuries.
