North City crash critically injures one person

ST. LOUIS, MO – One person sustained critical injuries after a red pickup truck hit a pole in a North City neighborhood intersection late Sunday night.

The pickup truck truck crashed into a pole near West Florissant Avenue and Pope Avenue around 11:30 p.m., according to KMOV4.

Police report one person was transported to a local hospital for critical injuries. It is unclear if the injured person was the driver or a passenger of the pickup truck.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
