Multi-vehicle crash leaves two seriously injured

ST. LOUIS, MO – Two people are injured following a multi-vehicle crash on I-70, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports. The crash happened at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer was stopped in the road west of St. Charles Rock Road due to mechanical issues. A 2006 Dodge Durango coming down the road hit the passenger side of the Trailblazer causing it to rear-end a 2003 Audi A3.  The Trailblazer continued spinning until it was hit by a 2003 Cadillac Deville.

The driver of the Trailblazer, as well as the driver of the Durango, sustained serious injuries.  Both individuals were transported to SSM Health DePaul Hospital.
