Collision closes two lanes on I-270 WB in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO — A vehicle accident early Friday morning closed two right lanes on Interstate 270 westbound in north St. Louis, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.


The incident occurred on the stretch of I-270 westbound at West Florissant Avenue and was first reported at 3:54 a.m.

The scene was initially expected to clear at 4:19 a.m. but was later rescheduled to clear at 10:25 a.m.

At 10:19 a.m., more than six hours after the original report, the scene was reported to have been moved to the right shoulder.

No further details on the incident have been reported.
