70-year-old woman injured after Ford Ranger hits tree

MADISON COUNTY, MO – A 70-year-old Fredricktown woman was injured after she crashed her 2011 Ford Ranger into a tree on Friday afternoon.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Beverly A. Eckert was traveling west on State Route J when her Ford Ranger traveled off the right side of the road. The Ford hit a tree 8 miles east of Fredericktown around 1 p.m.

Eckert was transported to Madison Medical Center for minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

The Ford sustained moderate damages.
