57-year-old driver injured in Franklin County accident

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO – A 57-year-old Marthasville driver was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Rorie S. Gist was traveling east on Highway E in a 2001 Ford F-550. She over-corrected after the vehicle partially traveled off the right side of the road. This caused the vehicle to rotate and skid off the left side of the road. The vehicle overturned west of Missouri 100 around 1 p.m.

Gist was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington for moderate injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

The Ford sustained extensive damages.
