54-year-old driver injured in semi crash on westbound I-70

CALLAWAY COUNTY, MO – A 54-year-old driver was injured in a semi crash on westbound I-70 early Wednesday morning.

Police report John L. Sessions was traveling west on I-70 in a semi when he traveled off the right side of the interstate. The driver over-corrected and then traveled off the left side of the interstate. Police report the semi overturned and hit a median cable barrier.

Sessions sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

The semi sustained extensive damages.
